Statement from the EUATC on the Ukraine crisis
The European Union of Associations of Translation Companies represents the core values of a peaceful and fruitful collaboration across borders. After all, our business is about communication, and those professionals working in the sector, translators and interpreters, use their love of language to share, understand and appreciate each other’s cultures.
Today our thoughts are with our Ukrainian and Russian language industry colleagues, who we know have always supported each other. They are friends, personally and intellectually.
The whole of the EUATC family hopes and prays for a return to meaningful diplomacy, respect for human rights and, above all else, freedom.
This statement has been posted on the EUATC website and is being broadcast via our social media channels
